- External Validity
- The extent to which a model's results accurately reflect real-world outcomes observed independently of the data used to build it.
- External Validity Assessment
- The formal process of testing whether a model's predictions match independent, real-world data not used in its original construction.
- External Validity of Valuation
- The degree to which a value estimate from stated preference or experimental conditions accurately predicts behaviour or values in the real world.
