- Benefit Transfer
- The practice of applying value estimates from one study context to a different but related policy context, rather than conducting a new valuation study.

- Function Transfer
- A form of benefit transfer in which an entire estimated value function, rather than a single point value, is applied to a new context.
M
- Meta-Regression Transfer
- A form of benefit transfer in which a regression model estimated across many original studies predicts a value for a new context based on its characteristics.
U
- Unit Value Transfer
- The simplest form of benefit transfer, applying a single mean value from an original study directly to a new context without adjustment.
