Calculation: Difference = New programme result − Current care result. A negative difference favours the option with the lower value when “Lower” is preferred. A positive difference favours the option with the higher value when “Higher” is preferred.
The example values are synthetic. Results are per participant over one year unless the row states otherwise. The healthcare-system perspective displays healthcare resource costs. The societal perspective also displays patient travel and time.
